Course Overview: Looking for a condensed, enjoyable workshop to learn how to knit? Join us for a 1 day workshop this summer. Knitting a child hat in the round is the basic starting point to understand and practice knitting. Achieving to knit a hat in the round is accomplished by learning basic knitting stitches. Stitches learned in class provide a basic foundation in knitting & boosts confidence for future beginner level projects and classes. The following stiches are learning points of the class:
- Cast –on
- Knit stitch
- Purl stitch
- Decreases
- Cast off

Class Supplies:
- Yarn: 1 skein Berocco Vintage Chunky
- Knitting needles: US 8 and 10 16" circular, US 10 double points
- Tapestry needle
- Pattern and stitch marker are provided in class
There is no homework or prerequisites for this class.
