Pre-requisite: Have knitted and completed at least 3 projects. Mastered the knit stitch, purl stitch, casting on of any method, binding off and are eager to increase your knitting in the round education and acquire practical experience in the class.
Learn to knit in the round using 3 different techniques and face your fear! Most knitters may feel intimidated by knitting with multiple needle points. During the class, you will knit in the round with DP’s, 2 Circular Needles and Magic Loop. By the end of the class, you will be familiar with the techniques and feel more confident in choosing future knitting in the round projects. Learn how to determine the best approach for your projects. The following are learning points of the class:
- Cast onto 3 double pointed needles, knit with the fourth needle and knit in stockinette stitch
- Cast on with 2 circular needles and knit in stockinette stitch
- Cast on for Magic Loop and knit in stockinette stitch
- Needle choice decision making based on assessment of project construction
