Pre-requisite: Basic knitting stitches such as: Knit Stitch, Purl Stitch, Cast-on & Bind- Off. Have completed 2 projects.
Course Overview: If you are a beginner knitter and want to boost your knitting confidence, this class is for you. It is perfect for a beginners’ first knitted garment. A lovely gift for a special newborn or for a special birthday girl from baby to 5 years old.
The pattern is beginner friendly that incorporates basic knitting skills to knit a cardigan that can be used for all seasons in a range of sizes. It has 3 buttons and cap sleeves. It has no seams and knitted from the neck down. It can easily be knitted longer for additional length or if knitting for a smaller baby, consider using DK weight yarn or smaller needles.
Homework:

Knit a 4” swatch in stockinette stitch and bring to first class:
- Cast on 19 stitches.
- Knit a row, purl a row for approximately 4” in length.
- Take your swatch off the needle and measure the length in inches by laying it flat but not stretched.
