Atlas is 70% Norwegian lambswool blended with 30% merino, and that ratio is the whole point. Norwegian wool brings the structure, the bounce, and the durability that makes traditional Nordic knitwear last for generations. The merino brings the part your neck actually enjoys.
The strand is plump and round with excellent stitch definition — cables, texture, and stranded colorwork all read clearly. It's woolier and airier than a smooth merino, with a light halo that gives finished pieces that proper Nordic sweater look. It blocks beautifully and improves with wear.
Worsted weight, so it's fast. This is a hat-in-a-weekend, cardigan-before-Christmas kind of yarn.
