Cozy mittens to keep your hands warm this winter or to keep your favorite tot, child, teen or adult hands warm too!
We'll be using the Tin Can Knits pattern for this beginner project. Mittens are knit from the cuff to the top of the mitten in worsted weight yarn.
Yes! There is homework. Please cast on and knit the cuff, up to thumb gusset so upon arrival to class you are ready to knit the thumb and thumb gusset.
Materials needed:
Tin Can Knits The World's Simplest Mitten, found on Ravelry as a free download
~300 yds worsted weight yarn (depending on mitten size)
Suggested yarns: Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok, Brooklyn Tweed Shelter, Rowan Pure Wool Worsted, Big Bad Wool Weepaca or Blue Sky Fibers Extra
US #5 & US 7 Double Points . Class is taught with DPN. If you prefer and are well versed knitting small circumference in another manner such as magic loop, you may do so. This class will not teach magic loop.
