Shelter is a woolen spun, two ply yarn. It's light and airy nature make it perfect for sweaters, blankets and accessories. As all Brooklyn Tweed yarns, Shelter is American made from Sheep to Store.
Fabrics made with Shelter bloom beautifully when handwashed and blocked.
For best results, submerge finished fabric in warm (but not hot) water, gently squeezing to release air bubbles. Soak for several minutes until well saturated. Remove excess moisture by rolling your fabric between clean, dry towels with light pressure.
Gently coax fabric to shape and lay flat to dry.
