A little about Forgotten Harvest ~
Since 1990, Forgotten Harvest has rescued food surpluses from food retailers, manufacturers, and farms.
Forgotten Harvest rescues donated food, which would otherwise go to waste, and delivers it free-of-charge to emergency food providers in the metro Detroit area. In FY 2021-2022 , Forgotten Harvest rescued and distributed more than 42 million pounds of food.
Our April Food Drive details ~
- When: April 1st - 22nd
- Drop off a healthy food from their Healthy Food Donation List at our store or make a Virtual Donation (Our goal is $1000!).
- Make a donation & you'll receive a Ewe-nique Knits Thank You Coupon. Making a virtual donation? Email amy@ewe-niqueknits.com or bring in your Forgotten Harvest confirmation.
