Pre-requisite: Have knitted and completed at least 3 projects. Mastered the knit stitch, purl stitch, casting on of any method, binding off and are eager to increase your knitting education by learning new techniques/skills and developing knitting independence.
Homework: None for first class. Homework is expected between the first and second class to complete the cuff and heel flap.
Course Overview: Learn how to knit a pair of adult shorter crew dk/sport weight socks for your feet or feet of someone worthy of your knitting using “Magic Loop Technique”. The student will learn how to knit the cuff learning Magic Loop Technique, vertical heel flap and review the anatomy of knitting the sock in the first class. The second class will focus on turning the heel, picking up gussets, knitting foot and learning Kitchener Stitch to close the toe.

- SSK
- K2 tog
- Kitchener
- Picking up stitches
- Slipping a stitch
Class Supplies: *Supplies are additional and yarn must be purchased at Ewe-nique Knits
- Yarn: Zauberball DK Starke 6 by Schoppel 1 skein OR any DK/sport weight yarn (325-350 yards)
- Knitting Needles: US 3 32" or 40" circular needle
